Prof. Dorota Kregiel is an expert in microbiology with over 30 years of experience researching microbial physiology and functions. She is the author of over 500 scientific publications and a co-author of several Polish and international patents. She has industrial expertise in the area of industrial microbiology and organises seminars and courses for industrial employees. For the last two decades, she has been a project manager for the National Science Center, National Center for Research and Development, Grants of the Ministry of Higher Education. She was a main contractor in the European Sixth Framework Programme and COST, as well as an expert in the INVENTORUM Project. She is a program council member for Polish and international journals. She is a member of the the ISEKI Food Association (National Deputy for Poland), as well as an honorary member of the National Society of Processing and Energy in Agriculture (Serbia).
